ADORATION OF THE BLESSED SACRAMENT
“The practice of adoration is about more than private prayer. True adoration is about being present before God and then taking God’s presence out into the world”
WHAT: You may have already heard about Eucharistic Adoration and wondered what this is all about. Simply put, it is time spent in the presence of the Blessed Sacrament giving praise and thanks, pouring out our hearts to God – in silence. Exactly how you choose to do this is up to you. Some of us just sit in stillness, others read scripture or whatever helps them to be spiritually centered and others pray the rosary or prayers that are meaningful to them.
WHERE: In our St Robert Parish Center Chapel which is located in the Milestones building between the church and school. Enter through door #9 which faces Capitol Drive.
WHEN: The chapel will be open every Friday from 9am until 9pm.
WHO: YOU! ME! Come alone or bring a friend or family member. You may come anytime between 9am and 9pm on Fridays and stay for as long (or short!) as you’d like. We also have a schedule for those who are able to commit to an hour each week. Please consider giving this a try. Many of us have found it can have a profound effect on all aspects of your life. You may sign up in the back of church after Mass, in the chapel or by contacting Cathy Hoelter at 414-617-3869 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
